I don't mind cloudy days.....as long as they aren't too many of them in a row. I can't remember the last time I've seen a completely sunny day.
"UFOs over New York and I aint too surprised."
"The futures uncertain and the end is always near."
"My friends are gonna be there too."

Got a bit of much needed rain today. More rain in the forecast for tomorrow. I like spring storms. As long as it doesnt snow again...okay now I've doomed us.
The daffodils are blooming and other flowers are coming up or are ready to pop. The grass is greener than it was a couple weeks ago and the trees are greening up. Ah...theres nothing like early spring. I don't care if I'm sneezing...it still looks awfully pretty out there.

It's still March and I am already sick of the political machine. I will vote, but I hate the fact the mudslinging will get heavier and more nasty as the days pass. This is a joke but can I vote for the Homer J. Simpson-Peter Griffin ticket? Okay, yes they are animated.....but could they do any worse then the people we have in office already?

Saw Eternal sunshine on the spotless mind over the weekend. It was pretty good.
Wish Access software hadn't been swallowed up by Microsoft. I would love to have a new Tex Murphy game to fiddle around with. I am not the brightest bulb so I can't get Under A Killing Moon to play, but I can still play Pandora's Directive and Overseer. Haven't tried the two earlier Tex Games, Martian memorandum or Mean Streets. I forget at the moment which of the two games I don't have. (I think its mean streets.)
Overseer ended with a bit of a cliffhanger that I am almost certain would have been cleared up in a game following it. I remember reading some fansites about at least one of the games that was to follow Overseer. If I remember correctly (and I am sure I am wrong about this) , but it seems that the name of the game would have been something like Black Pearl or Black Sun Ascending.
I loved the three games Tex Murphy games I have played and still own. They are very much cherished by me. Yes, it may be silly to cherish something like this, but I do. There are other fans of these games out there. Alas, though, we are a dying breed. The company that produced these games is gone and any hope of a new game has floated away on the breeze. The fansites have for the most part been abandoned like an unwanted child at the grocery store. It's hard to let some things go.

After some three days of clouds and rain we finally have wonderful sunshine.
My advice for some good....and free... software are the following:
AVG antivirus software,
Zone Alarm firewall,
Spybot search and destroy and finally
ad-aware.
All of these programs are great and best of all free. Now I realize that spybot and ad-aware are programs that do similar things...BUT I have found that one will find something the other didnt. While (esp. in government) redundancy is not always a good thing...in this case it's good. Besides with spybot you can immunize your computer from bad sites. All four have regular updates too.
